Today Adobe officially announced Creative Suite 5, which includes a major upgrade to Photoshop.
Will the upgrade be worth the money? Adobe has published a web site calling out new features, and some of them look quite impressive.

Adobe is planning to launch the latest upgrade to its flagship software programs, Creative Suite 5, on April 12. They’ve even built a microsite with a countdown clock to get people excited about the announcement.
We remember the last upgrade, to CS4, being a bit of a yawn, so we were preparing ourselves to be underwhelmed. That is, until we found a YouTube video (spotted via Jim Goldstein’s Twitter feed) demonstrating one of the new features of the next version of Photoshop. The tool is called Content-Aware Fill and it promises to be a huge time-saver for anyone who retouches photographs. Watch the video and see for yourself!
