the Owner/Photographer (Vicki Bartos)
I am advanced photographer learning my trade through trial, error, and support from my peers. I have been on Photo Tours with Naturalist/Photographer Mark S. Carlson. I have learned a great deal from Daniel Lincoln in New Orleans. I have a studio set up in my home with a few props, and a medium light kit including model lights, strobes, and umbrellas. I have five or so backdrops and do engagement,
Senior pics, wedding, and portraits. I do all my family and my own kids. My picture making began as a hobby ten years ago and has evolved since. I have decided to open my own business with the name Capturing Indigo. I especially love existing light and working outdoors, but am partial to abstract as well. I enjoy working with people as my primary photography carreer and hope to use my shooting in the most artful way possible. I have a 200 acre farm, with 4 horses, 3 dogs, an African Grey Parrot, 2 cats, 5 kids, and my fiancee who is the light of my life.
