Making time for metadata doesn’t mean starting from scratch every time you upload content to Bigstock. An easy solution is to create your own Master Keyword and Category Lists.<\/p>\n

A Master Keyword & Category List<\/strong>:
\n– Saves you time when uploading your images.
\n– Maintains consistency of your portfolio.
\n– Streamlines your workflow.
\n– Simplifies customer searches.<\/p>\n

A Note about the List<\/strong>:
\nThere are so many possible subjects and styles, this list could be endless. Let’s focus on some of the main types of content submitted. Start by categorizing your content in your mind<\/em>, then upload images from the same shoot or illustrations of the same type of subject. Identify what is in the image for your keywords. <\/p>\n

We are not suggesting that this is an all-inclusive list. Your list may be shorter or longer.

CAUTION<\/strong>: Don’t accidentally spam yourself. The purpose of this list is to give you ease when compiling and entering metadata<\/a> for your submissions. While pasting groups of words will save you time, be sure that you review each<\/strong> image to make sure that the keywords you have selected actually pertain to that particular image. For example, if you have a portrait of a woman sipping a cup of tea in her kitchen, don’t include words like \u201ckids” or “family\u201d just because other images in your uploaded batch features them.<\/em><\/p>\n
