Bengal Tigers are found mainly in India with smaller numbers in Bangladesh Nepal Sikkim Bhutan and Burma. The Bengal is 1 of 6 remaining subspecies of Tiger and has been protected since 1972. It is thought there are less than 2500 remaining in the wild.
